SALAD BURNET
Burnet: Burnet, also known as little burnet or sanguisorbe, is a herbaceous perennial in the Rosaceae family. It should not be confused with Grande Pimprenelle (or Sanguisorba officinalis) which is less tasty and much harder.
It is a very hardy rhizomatous plant with very toothed leaflets. It has a creeping habit and forms a rosette at its base. Fresh leaves (only) can be eaten as seasoning for their green nutty, even cucumber-like taste, in salads, with fish, eggs, in sauces... Discover VOLTZ Maraîchage's selection of seeds.
